At Mobilia our team shares a passion for good design, be it a beautiful sofa, a simple, yet exquisitely detailed table or something as utilitarian as a pepper grinder. However what we really enjoy is sharing our passion and enthusiasm with customers.
But our job involves much more than just having an appreciation for good design.
We ask questions and listen to responses, constantly striving to offer our clients fresh ideas and suggestions which meet their individual needs. This consultative approach takes thought and time, but in the end the results prove the worth of this method. We all hate when we go into stores and are faced with high pressure sales people, that is why you will never experience that in our store. You decide what and when to buy. Our role is to help you make good decisions, and however long that takes, is just fine with us.
So, if you are simply selecting a gift for a loved one, choosing an accessory or undertaking a large scale design project, our team at Mobilia stands ready to offer advice and expertise to ensure optimum satisfaction.
Let us show you our definition of service.

Dianna Wyatt
With a degree in art and design, Dianna’s main areas of study focused on fine arts and handmade furniture. Dianna has a strong appreciation for great design and unique craftsmanship. After graduating, she completed an apprenticeship in metalsmithing, which she uses in creating one of a kind hand fabricated jewelry.
Dianna has over a decade of experience as a cabinet designer working on remodels and new construction, both residential and commercial, as well as green building projects. She loves incorporating a variety of materials into her design projects including wood, metal, stone and concrete. She believes that a well designed home reveals itself through the many layers of texture. She loves sharing her passion for design with her clients and helping them create unique spaces within their home.

Douglas Moody
Nature inspires Doug’s design work, and he believes that the spaces we occupy should honor our unique location, architecture, story, and spirit. He creates thoughtful interiors that transcend time and feel both beautiful and comfortable. He relishes the challenges of melding old and new, balance and brilliance, to create environments that are personal and sustainable.
Doug favors organic palettes, artisanal and environmentally conscious craftsmanship, and furnishings that exude comfort and refuge. He brings to the design table a refined eye for layering color and texture, along with a practical focus on how humans live within their spaces. The core of his process is partnership, with careful listening, sensitive interpretation, and purposeful design that celebrates his customer’s story and lifestyle.
Doug is a self-described “orophile,” meaning he loves mountains, and he is living his “best life” here in Asheville with his spouse and English Labrador Retriever, Zander. He is an avid skier, traveler, musician, and writer, as well as the editor of The Asheville Avalanche for the Asheville Ski Club. He also enjoys cooking, gardening, and landscape design. His family roots are in south Louisiana and has lived in Washington, DC, Naples, FL, and most recently Atlanta, GA where he was the Senior Design Consultant at Ballard Designs’ flagship showroom. He has designed, renovated, and built several beautiful homes and gardens, and he passionately enjoys helping others do the same. Life is a grand adventure!

She is experienced in fine arts, spatial planning for homes, and theatre set and prop fabrication. Catherine worked with multiple live theatre productions along the East Coast, including Blue Man Group. These experiences reinforced her creativity, with hands-on problem solving, growing her love for all things design.
Catherine and her wife relocated to Asheville in 2019, and since then they’ve happily built their chosen family in WNC with their Basset Hound and Pitbull mix.
