Colleen Webster
A signature member of the Western North Carolina Plein Air Painters, Colleen Webster was awarded the Regional Artist Project Grant in 2003. She paints en plein air, working exclusively in oil.. In her own words,"The outdoors is my studio, a place for long visual meditations that coincide with brushstrokes. Painting for me not only reflects nature but responds to it. I cannot simply paint nature for I find myself interactingwith it, afftecting by it and changed by it."
